The Social Media Struggle

I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of social media. It can feel exhausting, overwhelming, and sometimes a little like shouting into the void. But as a small business owner, I know it’s part of raising awareness for Sazzle Stitches and connecting with the people who might love what I create.

I wish I could spend all my time doing what I truly love, designing, stitching, and creating beautiful pieces, instead of scrolling, posting, and keeping up with algorithms. Some days it feels like I’m spending more time on the hustle than the heart of the business.

But I’m learning to balance it. I focus on sharing real moments, celebrating small wins, and remembering why I started this business in the first place. Every like, comment, or message that comes from someone appreciating my work reminds me that it’s worth the effort, even if social media isn’t my favourite part of the job.
